The apartment is spacious enough for two adults and two children, and the very large master bed was a real plus. It had the basics, including dishwashing supplies, trash bags, toilet paper, shower gel, and towels. The reception team provided great service and dealt with every request quickly. Our cleaner was really nice and polite, and the apartment was cleaned almost every day. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, supermarket, and city centre, with lots of nice shops, bars, and restaurants. We can highly recommend it.

I’d already written a long TripAdvisor review in 2015, and it still holds up. I did notice some decorating and that the dark furniture in the apartments had been whitened. It’s a great base, and we found the staff helpful and the maids very good. Shops are close, and there’s just enough around to keep you entertained. Seven years after our first visit, the area still isn’t over-commercialised, and there are no major building works to worry about. A paradise for people who love the beach, sea, and restaurants. This place suits people looking for peace and quiet, a pool that’s almost to themselves, a base for exploring, winter sun, walking, and self-catering. It’s ideal for fit, active couples, people who like nice restaurants a 10-minute stroll away, and families with older children who can look after themselves. The beach is nearby. I’d avoid it if you want vibrant nightlife, late-night partying, pool service, or bars, as there are no amenities on site. There are too many steps if you’re physically impaired or find stairs hard work, and you need to be in reasonably good health. It’s a basic, workable apartment, so don’t expect 5-star treatment for a 2-star price. It also isn’t safe for small mobile children, with unguarded stairs in the apartment and around the complex. One serious caution: the tiled floors and pavements get extremely slippery when wet. I’d never felt so unsafe underfoot as I did in the complex and around the area after rain. Even though the showers were minor and only lasted a couple of days, the surfaces stayed slick for a few days after the rain stopped. My good-looking branded trainers were useless on the wet tiles. Forget vanity and bring shoes with sensible grips, and pack sandals too for the hot weather. Take extra care, use handrails, and consider other routes around the complex when it rains. Watch for wet floors by the pool and wherever you travel. There are lots of stairs and slopes here, as there are in many places. Be careful and you can still have a great holiday.

I’ve stayed here a few times. The apartments are a little dated, but spacious, spread over three levels, and have everything you need. It’s the most chilled-out place on the island, with easy walking routes to town, the beach, and elsewhere.
