Esmeralda Maris by Livvo Hotel

We were a group of ten and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were warm and helpful, often thinking ahead and offering choices before we even asked. The building is well kept, and the rooms are spacious, with both a patio and a balcony.

We’d happily stay here again. The area is quiet, and the hotel, pool and chill-out space were peaceful too, with no trouble finding a sunbed. Our apartment was clean and well equipped, near the beach and a good beach restaurant where the fish was great. We mostly cooked for ourselves, but tried the buffet one evening. It was fairly basic, though perfectly nice. All the staff were great.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly, with excellent service throughout our stay. We loved it, though paying over €200 extra for a sea view was disappointing because the view wasn’t what we’d been offered. We were shown another room, but it didn’t work for a family with small children, so we stayed in room 216, where the kids had a swing outside. We still paid the extra €200 and didn’t get a refund. There’s a lovely private spa that costs €10 for a two-hour slot. Ask about the price, as nobody told us until we checked out and saw it on the bill.

We were looking for a quiet place to rest, and the hotel and island were both very calm. There’s not much nearby beyond the beach, so it’s a good fit if you want a peaceful break without loud concerts or similar things. Our room was one of the best we’ve had in Spain, with lots of space, a sea view and a kitchen that worked well for cooking. Breakfast could have offered a few more choices.
