Apartamentos Tao Morro Jable

The rooftop pool was great, with plenty of loungers for relaxing. It’s a three-minute walk on flat ground to the local Spar, which has everything you need, and there are lots of other shops nearby. The apartment itself was really good, with a useful kitchenette, comfortable beds, international TV, and a good shower and bath. There’s a lift to all three floors and plenty of street parking. The receptionist and cleaning staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. Cleaning and fresh linen and towels were provided every four days.

The apartment was clean, but very basic and bland, more like student housing for a long stay. It was stuffy and had no air conditioning. The busy, noisy street outside meant opening a window wasn’t really an option. There was no kettle, toaster or iron, and the kitchen and bathroom had very little provided. The pool🙄 was small and shallow. The one upside was being close to the beach. I’m surprised by the good reviews. Very disappointing.

We appreciated how friendly and helpful the service was, especially the accommodating communication at checkout and whenever we needed anything during the stay. The apartment was clean, spacious and excellent value, with all the kitchen utensils needed for a holiday if you don’t want to eat out. It also had a hairdryer and coffee machine. In Morro Jable’s old town, it’s just a few steps from the beach and lots of good places to eat. It was important to us that the property welcomes dogs. We’d definitely stay again, thank you so much.

The rooftop pool area was the highlight, with lovely views across Morro Jable and plenty of time to relax in the sun. The water was very cold, as it seems to be in most of Fuerteventura in winter, but it was easy to find a sunbed. The central old-town location made it easy to walk to both the beach and town. We’d absolutely return. We stayed over Christmas in December 2023. The apartments were spotless, modern enough in design and had most things needed for self-catering, though they were quite basic. A little oil and salt in the kitchen would have been a nice touch, but the Eurospar is only a few minutes around the corner. Some kitchen surfaces were a bit damaged, just cosmetically, and the free WiFi was fast and reliable. Irina was helpful and made collecting the keys and checking in very easy, and was happy to answer questions. Housekeeping were friendly and cleaned the bathroom and changed our towels a few days into the stay. Two pillows per person as standard would be good.
