La Escapada Cuenca

That jacuzzi beside the fireplace was such a lovely way to switch off for the weekend. La escapada de cuenca is a beautiful house with everything you need, and it was just right for a break from the hectic pace of everyday life. Alberto was a really nice host and made sure we had what we needed for a special stay. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks for everything.

We’re already looking forward to going back. The houses are wonderful, and there are beautiful waterfalls nearby. The village is small and welcoming, and the locals are so friendly. The owner was lovely too, always respectful and polite, and he kept trying to make us smile. That was my favorite part. I was absolutely delighted with the experience.

The private garden and barbecue were a lovely surprise, and it was great that we could bring our dog. Inside, the small house had all the comforts we needed: a jacuzzi, fireplace, candles, and a bottle of cava. There’s Wi-Fi, and the TV can be watched from any room using the StickFire. For warmth there’s the fireplace, air conditioning with heating and cooling, and an electric radiator, so we weren’t cold. I’d booked it to surprise my partner after seeing photos, but the place was even more delightful in person. The charming village has lovely scenery and plenty of nature walks. Cueca is about 45 minutes away and worth a visit too. A peaceful, romantic place for a weekend. An exceptional experience.

We slept really well, with the quiet, insulated windows, and blinds making a difference. Even in winter the apartment stayed warm with the fireplace, electric radiator, and heat pump air conditioning. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the linens were clean and well kept, and there were plenty of towels for the bathroom and jacuzzi. We also had our own parking, and the complex was nicely landscaped and decorated. The owner was available from our first inquiry until we left, and took the time to explain the fireplace, barbecue, and jacuzzi. He clearly knows rural tourism and makes sure guests have what they need. The kitchen had all the utensils, glassware, and cutlery for cooking, while the barbecue was ready to use any time. There was firewood and everything needed to light the fireplace, which gave the room a relaxing, romantic feel. The large TV was visible from the bed, sofa, jacuzzi, and kitchen, and we could watch the available DVDs or connect our own USB drive. Wi-Fi was fast and worked very well. Since we were there for three days, they left us a basket with everything for breakfast and a chilled bottle of cava in an ice bucket to enjoy on our first afternoon. Such a warm welcome, and a sign of the comfort ahead. There are nice walks through the countryside and nearby villages, so there’s plenty to do. I can only congratulate Alberto on his dedication and thank him for giving us a few peaceful, relaxing days away from city stress.
