AA-1 CALELLA DE PALAFRUGELL 6PaX

The gardens, pools, and lots of places to sit made this a lovely hotel, and it’s only about five minutes from the beach and coastal paths. Great spot for cyclists too. The one frustration was weak WiFi on level 1, and we couldn’t find any English-language TV channels in the room.

The hotel made a beautiful setting for our wedding, with lovely gardens, a restaurant, and a pool bar. Our guests were really impressed by the service, and Lidia was a brilliant event coordinator. The wedding staff were fantastic too, with excellent food and service. There are great balconies and views from the rooms, and it’s only a short walk to the beach and town. We’ll definitely be back. Gracias :)

The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and really comfortable. There weren’t many guests while we were there, so it was easy to find a sunbed by the roomy pool. Coming back from the beach means tackling a pretty steep hill, and the elevator was out of action almost our whole stay. Also, at this price I expected better than instant coffee in the room, maybe filter coffee or espresso pods. Even so, I loved the hotel and would happily return.

We’re already looking forward to another stay. The breakfast had plenty of good options, and the restaurant was impressive for fine dining. The hotel is elegantly and tastefully decorated, with lovely, well-kept gardens and relaxing spots, plus an impressive swimming pool. It’s in a perfect position for a short walk to beautiful beaches and restaurants overlooking the sea. Our room was very clean, and paying for a sea view was worthwhile. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and the stay was comfortable, peaceful, and very enjoyable.
