We loved looking out from the balcony over the beach, and the location made it easy to hike the Camí de Ronda. We did the trail both days. The local restaurants were great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

You’re right on the beach, with coastal trails, restaurants, shops, and a small grocery close by. The apartment was clean and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a small window you can open at night to hear the waves. There’s a functional kitchen and an extra bedroom. The bathroom is on the second floor with the bedrooms. The spiral stairs could be tricky for someone elderly, but they caused us no problems.

We stayed in the REMS apartment and would happily stay again. Everything is smaller than Americans are used to, but that’s Europe. The bay view is perfect, and the sound of the sea helped us fall asleep and woke us in the morning. The location makes it easy to visit other places, then come back to a quiet spot at night. The Restaurants in Calella and nearby villages are top notch.
