Hotel hcp

The people working here were so welcoming and accommodating, and I'd happily recommend the hotel. It's very clean, in a great location, and our terrace was huge. There is a gym, though it has almost no equipment and no weights. The rooms have no kitchen facilities, but guests can use a shared fridge and borrow plates, glasses, and cutlery, which was helpful. I'd suggest booking directly with the hotel: the cancellation terms are quite forgiving, and the price is better than on aggregators.

The room was roomy and comfortable, with a balcony that was handy for drying towels and swimwear, and the location was great. Parking costs €20 a day. Although the lot was nearly empty during our three-day stay and there was plenty of space, we were strangely directed to the tightest spot at the far end. We asked for housekeeping, but came back to find someone had entered without telling us. There was no apology or compensation. The next day we declined cleaning, and only then were we given a Do Not Disturb sign, which should have already been in the room. Check-in was friendly, but at checkout another staff member incorrectly tried to charge us city tax again. They acknowledged we'd paid once I pointed it out. The hotel is comfortable overall, but these problems affected our stay.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was great before the short walk to the beach and the lovely bars and restaurants along the street. Three of us stayed for two nights at the end of a cycling trip, and it was much better than its three-star rating suggests. The rooms were excellent, and the shower was faultless. We'll definitely return.

The room-service breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the rooms felt brand new, modern, and spacious. The owners of this family-run hotel are incredibly kind and attentive to details. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I'm definitely coming back!
