Hotel Medium Montecarlo

For the price, I think it’s hard to beat the value. It’s a small, no-frills hotel in a phenomenal location, and the staff were super nice. The rooms were okay, though it got quite warm at night. We didn’t spend much time there during the day, so the lack of A/C wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be if you struggle with heat. Llafranc felt very secure, so I had no concerns about leaving the car on the street. After a few days, I managed to find a spot that was basically free. There’s also secure parking two minutes away for 12 EUR per 24 hours.

The staff were wonderful, and breakfast was delicious. The young people at the evening desk were especially kind and helpful. It was quiet during the week and busier on weekends. The location worked well for walking, and the parking was safe and easy, though expensive. The room felt hot and stuffy without A/C. We could only open unscreened windows, so mosquitoes got in. The hallways were a bit dark, and the motion sensors were so quick that they were dark when you first entered. Wi-Fi was okay but only worked in the lobby. For what it was, the place felt expensive.

A sweet little beach town surrounded by lovely nature. The rooms were nice, and the staff were very kind. Highly recommended!

The location is the one good thing. The place is ugly and old, and it’s super expensive. Terrible.
