Marsol Pl in Llafranc

We had a great meal at Marmara Llafranc, with attentive staff who never hovered, helpful recommendations, and a well-chosen wine list that suited the food. The calm, stylish setting had a lovely seaside feel, and the gluten-free options were a nice detail. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, from aubergine with honey and prawn tostadas to seared tuna with roasted vegetables. The desserts were outstanding too. Elegant but relaxed, with friendly, professional service. A perfect spot in Llafranc for excellent food and coastal charm.

There’s a nice buzz when Marmara is full, with everyone chatting but still able to hear the people at your own table. We ordered more than two dishes, and every plate looked so good that I forgot to take pictures before digging in. The first time we visited Llafranc, we ate at Marmara and enjoyed it so much that it’s now the only place we have lunch when we come for the day. The ingredients, cooking, and presentation are all excellent, and the waiting staff are always friendly and helpful. Christian was outstanding. Even with a full restaurant, he stayed attentive to us and every other table.

The food quality is very high and the service impeccable at this popular restaurant for local cuisine. I’d gladly come back.

The beachside setting is lovely, and the restaurant was full of locals, always a good sign. This was our second visit to marmara, after loving it on last year’s family holiday. The tapas are brilliantly done and very reasonably priced for the quality. We especially liked the crispy aubergine with honey, meat croquettes, prawn tostadas and gyozas, and tuna with roasted vegetables. The white chocolate coulant and Nutella croissant were amazingly tasty. Everything was cooked brilliantly and did justice to the great ingredients. Service was quick and friendly.
