Residencial Super Stop Palafrugell

I stayed here a couple of times years back and had a good time. It was easy to get into town, and the bus to the beach stopped along the route.

Really disgraceful. We booked apartments for a group of 20 for New Year’s Eve, and nobody mentioned any age rule when we made the reservation. A week later, they told us we had to cancel if we weren’t 25, even though over half the group was that age. They only raised it a month before New Year’s Eve, after we’d already booked several tours and dinner in the city. If under-25s aren’t welcome, that should be made clear from the start. It was very unprofessional. Given the other positive reviews, maybe we were unlucky, but there are also claims in other reviews about staff stealing from rooms.

The owner was completely indifferent, which sums up my worst experience ever. At first, arranging a New Year’s Eve stay for 20 friends seemed fine, with no objection to the group. Then, just a month before we were due to arrive, she suddenly said we couldn’t stay because some of us were 24 and the minimum age was 25. She showed no regard for all the arrangements we’d made outside the accommodation. To this owner, it felt like a guest is just something to feed you in the end, like raising a pig.

The room smelled like rotting corpses, and our phone chargers were stolen. There was no kindness or courtesy either. I’d rather sleep on the beach than in this pigsty. Worst place I’ve ever stayed.
