The view from the terrace was amazing, but the rest of the flat felt old and worn. We stayed three nights in April 2026. Cleaning seemed superficial, with dirt left in some corners, and the sheets felt overused. In the morning, we got only five minutes of hot water in the shower. For a price comparable to a night at a nice hotel, I expected the flat to be refreshed.

One of our favorite places near Begur/Palafrugell. The bay has a lovely fine-pebble beach, and it manages to feel peaceful while still lively. :-)

There are nice restaurants around this little bay, and there’s a diving school too. Bring water shoes, and you can jump into the water from the diving board. Parking is in the town-center lot, €2.80, cash only!!

A lovely bay at the end of a cycle ride, though the hills are steep.

Clear water, a rocky cove and distinctive surroundings make this one of the Costa Brava’s joys.
