Apartamentos Casa Marea La Fosca

We've been coming for more than 30 years and love it here. Our apartment has what we need, secure parking, and a great pool. The sandy beach is only 300 meters away, and there are lots of privately owned apartments in the complex. Dogs are welcome, with a dog run in the pine forest and a dog beach in Palamós by the harbor, near the lighthouse. Lafosca is small and just 2 kilometers from Palamós. In season, there's a little open top bus that does a short tour. There's also a campground, a hotel, a small convenience shop with a good selection, and a bakery with changing opening hours. Lidl and Aldi are nearby, along with plenty of big supermarkets. In Palamós, there's a market every Tuesday with clothes, leather goods, and more, plus a market hall open daily. Palamós has a lot of renovation work going on this year, so there are construction sites and some noise. Many places are closed in the off season. Still, the sun, beach, sea, and people more than make up for it. We'll keep coming back as long as we can.

It was very clean and peaceful. La Fosca is a five minute walk away. There's a bakery and café right outside the Spar supermarket, which is closed. We'll come back.

We were really comfortable during our weekend with friends. The place has everything you need, and the pool is lovely. The communal grounds are beautiful, green, and well kept, with the beach just 150 meters away. We loved it and highly recommend it.

The pool and parking were the best parts, but the price feels high for what you get. The photos don't seem to match reality, and the kitchen and bathroom look original. The furnishings and facilities are old, and it didn't seem to have had a proper clean in a while. The walls are thin enough that you hear other guests clearly. We also found very few glasses, cups, bowls, kitchen roll, or toilet paper.
