We'd already paid several thousand dollars to Macs Adventure, but now they're asking us to pay again for a room covered by the travel agency. It's been over an hour and we're still not in our room. They can't find our reservation. This is insane. I've never had such a terrible check-in. The staff have none of the right booking information and haven't been helpful. After walking all day on the Camino, we still had no room or information after 30 minutes.

I never write reviews, but this time I felt I should. This place doesn't seem set up to welcome guests. There's no actual reception or anyone there to help, just a machine and a girl on a video call. One guest had already been trying to check in for 20 minutes when I arrived. They wouldn't take cash, and nobody was there to assist her. Then more pilgrims came in, and the tiny reception area, about 1 meter by 1 meter, got so packed there was no room for anyone else. After walking, pilgrims need good customer service. This place doesn't provide it at all.

My interior room was humid, and my wet clothes wouldn't dry. There wasn't enough ventilation: the room opened onto an air shaft that was enclosed by a roof.

If you check in after 4 pm, be prepared to wait a long time. The restaurant is closed, and reception is inside it, even though booking.com says check-in is available until 10 pm.

The gentleman who checked us out offered a lovely liquor dessert after the meal, and it was delightful. The food and service both went beyond what we expected. Everything about this restaurant was perfect. One of our best experiences in Spain.
