The restaurant food was first class, and the service was exceptional. My husband and I loved our overnight stop at Rectoral de Lestedo while walking the Camino. The atmosphere felt peaceful and magical, and all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our Labrador was warmly welcomed too. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The food was some of the best I had on the Camino. Their take on caprese salad was delicious, and the peppercorn sauce main was the standout. I'd had plenty of disappointing pilgrim menus, but this wasn't one of them. We had a spacious, clean, cozy room and a huge bathroom. The fire was very welcome on a cold, rainy day, and the hosts made us feel at home. Thank you, Santiago and Humberto. I was sad to leave.

The food is great, and the service is warm and friendly. About 4k before Palas de Rei, this place gives you a welcome pause from the busy Camino. A real gem and a must stop along the way.

Staying in the family cottage gave me the most peaceful night's sleep, and the rooms and living room/library are stunning. The staff were so friendly that I felt right at home. Mike shared the history of the land and local tips that many pilgrims miss. The food was delicious, home baked with local ingredients. I was so glad to find this wonderful place to recharge. Best stop on my Camino. Buen Camino
