Dated, old, smelly hotel, two stars at best. The breakfast was awful. Only single beds, no kettle, cisge switchws off, and the AC didn't work properly. Avoid at all cost.

Given its stellar reputation, to the point that people often just call it "the hotel," I expected better from the food. Every time I ate here, I found it deeply underwhelming. The chips with my huevos rotas were obviously frozen and very likely supermarket ones. Not impressed.

I got so comfortable in bed that I took this pic and didn't want to get up. The rooms are cozy and the staff were wonderful, so I really enjoyed staying here. The WiFi was pretty bad, but it didn't take away from how much I liked the place.

The location near Old Town was handy, and there was car parking. Staff were very friendly, and the rooms were very clean, with lots of space and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good, a continental spread with eggs and bacon, plenty of fresh fruit and pastries, and lovely coffee.

The food was very good, and the set menu was 16 EUR, including a full bottle of wine. The only real drawback was that the WiFi didn't work in the rooms. The hotel is nice, though the rooms and bathrooms feel a bit dated.
