Apartaments Les Dunes

We thought we'd booked a one-bedroom apartment, but it turned out to be a room within a larger apartment. The kitchen wasn't available unless we booked additional rooms we didn't need. We discovered this during a phone call and asked right away for free cancellation because key details hadn't been made clear. They refused and charged us half the reservation, which was really frustrating. Check the listed amenities carefully before booking, as they aren't specified properly.

Pals beach is beautiful, with clean sand, and the coastal path is outstanding. The setting is quiet and clean, and it's only an hour and a half from Barcelona.

The apartment was clean, but it feels like it's from the 1980s, and 156 euros a night is really expensive for what you get. There was one bed and a very uncomfortable sofa bed. They left sheets that were too small, so we couldn't make the bed properly. I won't come back unless the price and location make sense.

The apartment was clean, tidy, and well equipped with pretty much everything for everyday use. The beach is close, and private parking was a real plus in an area with paid blue-zone parking. But we were on the ground floor facing a parking lot, so instead of the sea view mentioned in the booking, we often saw vans and cars. We also couldn't leave the windows open at night. Noise was fine until the last few days, when people upstairs were easy to hear, from footsteps to the boiler, shower, and doors. I suppose sounds carry more to a ground-floor apartment. A very convenient location and a clean place, though some parts of the stay didn't work for us.
