The bar and restaurant were a hit, with tasty food at reasonable prices, especially the pizzas and burgers. The shop was less impressive, often short on stock, and fresh bread wasn't available until after 9am. We didn't use the entertainment since most of it was in French, which wasn't ideal for our children. Marvilla Parks Neptuno made for a wonderful holiday. The site has good facilities and plenty for the kids, and the pool was a brilliant size without getting overcrowded. There was no stress over getting sunbeds early. It wasn't heated, though, so on cooler days our youngest found it too cold. Staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful, and very quick to resolve issues. When our aircon had a problem, an engineer came within an hour. Our caravan was clean and had what we needed, though it was quite basic. A proper oven would have been useful, but we got by with the BBQ, hob, and microwave. The quiet location away from busy roads felt safe for the children to play outside. Bringing our car was a real bonus, as we could explore Barcelona, Girona, Pals, and other beautiful places nearby. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would happily return.
The mobile home was comfortable for the price, and we'd book it again. We had a great time relaxing by the pool. The only snag was that the on-site supermarket was closed for some reason, so we had to drive outside the campsite for basic supplies.
The rest of the stay was okay, and my five-year-old daughter liked the water activities. There's a great, clean beach about a 15-minute walk away, and maintenance was fine. But there was no kids' club, despite it being advertised. Staff said we could check the program on a wall, but that was all there was.
There are lots of green areas and large shady pitches, which stayed comfortable even in hot weather. Camping Neptuno is a cozy, clean, well-kept place for an affordable nature break. Staff are friendly and ready to help, and the campsite has the essentials, including a pool, restaurant, and shops. It's also close to the beautiful beaches of Costa Brava. A good choice if you want to enjoy the outdoors and save money.
The bathrooms were clean and renovated, and there were plenty of places to wash dishes. There's a foot bath too, yes, like the Romans. This is a quiet family-owned camping place, far from the main road, with private beach access and an amazing sunset. The young host was mega friendly and is rebuilding parts of the campsite with his own hands. The bar was soon to open. Very close to Agrigento. We'll definitely come back. Two people, a dog, and electricity cost 25Eur.
