Golf Beach

We had a great stay. It's a handy base for visiting lovely beaches, towns, and cities, with a good restaurant and supermarket in the complex and another supermarket around the corner. Even in high season, there was enough parking. The garden is beautiful, and the pool was lovely and clean, though the sunbeds badly need replacing with more comfortable ones. There’s a kids club with nice activities each week. The rooms are functional, but could use an update. Our fridge was a bit loud at night, and noise in the corridors carried into our second-floor room. A child screaming or people not leaving quietly could wake us. Air conditioning worked well. The Wi-Fi was okay in our room, though our friends had complaints. Cleaning was frequent, daily except weekends. The staff were nice, but the welcome information varied a lot: we got a brief introduction, while our friends got a detailed one from another receptionist, with a map and recommendations. Reception is open 24/7, and you can ask them anything.

We came as a group for a lunch that had been arranged in advance. The service was pleasant and the meal was okay. Since our choices were limited, I can't really judge the usual menu. It's a good spot for a meeting followed by lunch.

We were happy to get a ground-floor room facing the pool, since it gave us easy access to the nice garden and pool. The hotel is pleasant otherwise, with friendly staff and a good range of restaurants nearby. After finding a quieter alternative route to the beach, we were happy with the walk. The main road doesn't feel safe or practical to walk along with children. The big downside was the noise. The walls are very thin, and you can hear nearly every word your neighbors say. If quiet matters to you, this place may not be for you.

There was plenty of room, it was clean, and parking was easy. The location is really nice, with a supermarket and lots of places to eat nearby. For the price, though, I expected a bit more. There were no shower gel or shampoo samples, and there wasn't a shower dispenser either, despite what reception had told me. Check-out was at 10 a.m.
