I still remember the people of Pampaneira all these years later. About 25 years ago, I crashed my motorbike near Orgiva, and the owner of a BnB in Pampaneira kindly took me in and looked after me, even though I had soaked all the bed linen in blood. Over the next few days, we drove around several villages in an old Peugeot 205, which needed a bottle of water after every climb, trying to find spare parts for my bike. The village and its people made a lasting impression on me. If that person is still hosting, I’d love to get in touch and book again. I hope to hear from you. Kind regards, Roland

Miguel and his wife made us feel welcome from the start. They were friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything, and you could see how much care they put into the place. The house was beautiful, very well kept, and really comfortable for our group of three young friends. We’d come to explore the Alpujarra region and switch off for a few days, and ended up having an even better time than we’d expected. We’d happily come back and recommend it.

Miguel was always checking that everything was going well, and the house was spotless and lovely. It had all sorts of thoughtful extras, from coffee, toiletries, shower gel, towels, and a hairdryer to kitchen equipment and even a Parcheesi board. They really have everything. Definitely recommend it! 👍🏻👌🏻😍

Miguel had the fireplace going before we arrived, which was much appreciated in the middle of winter in January. We found the house clean, carefully maintained, and stocked with things you might forget to pack, including shower gel, shampoo, a hairdryer, coffee, and oil. He also shared suggestions for routes, places to see, and restaurants. When we turned up in the dark late in the afternoon and felt completely lost, he greeted us so warmly, and stayed helpful and available throughout. We’re practically living here! We can only thank him and recommend him to anyone looking for a place in the area.

The house was spotless and had three bedrooms, a toilet, a bathroom, and a terrace with lovely views. It’s in a small, charming village that still has everything you need. There’s a fireplace that warms the whole house, so we didn’t feel the cold outside at all. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, treating us like family. We had a wonderful few days away and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we come back.
