Way too loud and crowded, so we just had a drink and left.

The coffee I got was the worst cup I've had in Pamplona, though maybe I just caught them on an off day. I still tell people to go for the tasty food and the place itself, with its lovely atmosphere and all the architectural details.

The building has a nice atmosphere, but that was the only good part for me. My burger was undercooked and the fish wasn't cooked properly either. The staff were rude and ignored us. I wouldn't recommend eating here.

We'd eaten here before and enjoyed it over the years, but on the evening of 19th May the staff seemed not to care whether we stayed, ordered, or left. We asked for English menus because the Menu del Dia was quite extensive. They just said, "sit anywhere," but the chairs in the square were padlocked to the tables, so we couldn't sit there. When we asked if anyone would serve us, the waiting staff looked affronted. We left and went to La Tagliatella, where the service, food, and atmosphere were far superior. We've been travelling around Spain for weeks, so this isn't a grudge review. I simply wish we'd known there were much better places to eat. I wish I could give this place 0/5*.
