Everyone was wonderful, from the owner to the housekeeper. The sheets and pillows had an elegant hotel monogram and felt so soft, and it was those little details and the human touch that made the stay. On the morning of my birthday, the front desk team wished me a happy birthday and gave me a sweet gift. It was our first visit to Pamplona, and we had the best hotel experience. The location is great, with lots of restaurants in the plaza across the way. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return!

We were in Pamplona for a wedding, and just as we were leaving, a strap on my dress broke. I asked at the front desk for a safety pin, and María came back with a whole box of sewing supplies and fixed the dress skillfully and quickly. A++ service. The people here really go above and beyond!

Daniel welcomed us and treated us so well throughout the stay. When we left, he even helped load our luggage into the car. The rooms are spacious, and the shower was the biggest I've ever seen. The hotel's historic items and location made it a memorable part of our trip to Spain. We had an excellent stay.

Have you seen the July/August 2025 Smithsonian Magazine story, Exploring Hemingway's Pamplona, that mentions Gran Hotel La Perla? If you're visiting after reading it, like this post and tell me in the comments what connections or inspiration brought you here!

We had an amazing family stay and enjoyed a fun NYE dinner downstairs. Before we left, they showed us Ernest Hemingway’s room. The location is amazing too. I'd definitely stay again, and highly recommend it!
