Casa Rural Cotaraxa

The owner was so welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. Our children and pets had room to roam and still felt safe in the natural, almost wild surroundings. The little house itself was lovely, tucked into the Picos de Europa near Arriondas. A dreamlike place and a really unique stay.

Chema and Isabel were lovely, always attentive, and made us feel at home. The house also worked perfectly for two adults, a child, and our dog, with everything we needed. We were taken by the views and the incredible surroundings, and even the road up to the house has its own charm. It’s well placed for exploring Asturias. We’d love to come back soon, highly recommend it.

It’s easy enough to find with GPS, and the rural road up to this little house adds to the sense of being away from it all. You get mountain views and a peaceful setting, while the Picos de Europa and Ribadesella are still close, just over half an hour away by car. The house is well equipped and comfortable, and the owner pays attention to every detail to help things go smoothly. A lovely place for a quiet break, highly recommended.

Chema was so kind and made everything easy. He answered all our questions and suggested places to visit, and we felt right at home. The house was lovely and cozy with the fireplace, very clean, and had everything we needed. We stayed for over a week with our big dog and had no problems at all. Tucked into the mountains, it has stunning views and feels peaceful away from the city. WE’LL DEFINITELY BE BACK!
