The lounge at the back is a lovely shared space, and breakfast is generous and complete. Staff are friendly and attentive. I like the rustic style and the building's architecture, and the area around it is wonderful. Whenever I visit family in Riello, I stay here. The rooms are spacious, with big windows and comfortable beds. The bathroom is bright, roomy, and well equipped, with nice extras like a hairdryer and magnifying makeup mirror. It's a lovely country hotel inside and out, and I plan to keep coming back whenever I'm in the area. Best, Ángeles.

Nati at reception was so thoughtful. At breakfast she let us sit at a sunny table with our two dogs and kept checking that we had everything. We really appreciated her kindness. We slept well in the comfortable bed, and the views from our room were stunning. The hotel is huge, very peaceful, and pet friendly, so we could walk all around the grounds with our dogs. We had a lovely quiet night and will definitely return.

The room was roomy and the bed was large. There were no luxuries, but everything we needed for a comfortable, restful weekend was there. The setting is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay. It's a calm place to unwind, with very friendly staff who made sure we were comfortable. Pets are welcome too. Our calm, well-behaved dog could stay with us at breakfast.

The only considerate thing the caretaker did was wash and dry our soaked clothes, and to be fair, she offered before the argument about the price. Everything else about our stay was awful. We left without seeing anyone again, slammed the door, and won't return. We should have asked for the booking confirmation by email. Three of us arrived by bicycle after riding the "Forgotten Way," soaked and almost hypothermic from the torrential rain. A woman who seemed to be the caretaker greeted us. We found out we were the only guests in this huge hotel, and every facility was closed. When we booked in March, the price quoted was €50 with breakfast. At the June confirmation, we were told €60 because we were pilgrims. Then, on arrival, she tried to charge €80. We argued, and from then on she showed her worst side. She left us wet and freezing for what felt like ages while she talked on the phone. Eventually we paid the agreed €60 from the second confirmation call. After that we were left on our own, with no other service. The caretaker didn't come back all day. Breakfast was cold coffee and milk with no microwave to warm it, and there was a dead orange in the orange juice, as the photo shows. The hotel is advertised as four-star, but costs 80 euros a room and offers nothing beyond a bed. The facilities are meant to be top-notch, yet they're completely neglected. Locals said the hotel had its heyday and is now practically closed. This is how tourism in the area gets ruined. It's pathetic. Grand Hotel Pandorado, the "grand" part really isn't needed. Goodbye forever. We won't forgive the caretaker for putting us through that ordeal or for the scam she tried so hard to keep up.

There are spacious rooms and comfortable beds at this beautiful stone and wood hotel, set in a great spot in the natural park. Breakfast is good, with rustic bread toast, fruit, yogurt, butter, and jam. The building could use some maintenance, though Naty's hospitality and service were excellent.
