My wife and I never stayed at the hotel, though we wish we had. We arrived at La Molinuca around 10:40 pm, and their limited menu had no vegetarian options. We were told everything in town was closed, but found this hotel with a group of people hanging out. I asked if the kitchen was open, and they cooked us a ton of food for a low price, even though I later noticed the kitchen had closed at 10:30. I felt bad about that, but was glad they could help so late. We came back each of the next six nights for dinner and tried different dishes. The people were warm and kind, and happily adjusted the food to suit us. Such a caring family. There’s loads of hiking and plenty to see and do in the Picos. We couldn’t fit it all in, so we’re planning another trip. We’ll definitely return and stay at this hotel!

The room was huge, with an unusual detail on the beds, and the bathroom was spacious too. Everything was very clean, and the hotel grounds looked modern and well cared for. The reception area is a little dated and gives the wrong first impression. It’s good value for money overall. My one real annoyance was how loudly the cleaning staff slammed room doors shut. Locking them with a key would be much quieter. They also tried to open my room while we were still inside, quite early in the morning.

We were really comfortable here, thanks in no small part to the people working there. They went out of their way to help with our car trouble and were incredibly kind and generous. The rooms were spotless. We tried several places to eat, but the hotel dining room was easily the best in Panes, with spectacular food. The location works well for Panes, and some incredible beaches on the coast are only thirty minutes away. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The best part was how lovely the whole family was, especially with our son. We’re so glad we found this hotel and will come back many more times. Our room was spacious, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness impeccable. Every dish we tried was delicious, real home style cooking made with care. They use top quality ingredients and even make their own sausages.

A lovely, familiar place, with very good rooms and a great breakfast. They even made a really nice towel detail. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the photos of Felipe at the entrance. For me, there are too many things there praising the monarchy.
