We felt at home as soon as we arrived, thanks to José’s warmth and attention. He went out of his way to make the stay a good one. The rooms were cozy and comfortable after days spent exploring, and the facilities were spotlessly clean and well kept. Reitoral de Parada is a modern rural house and restaurant in a former rectory, right in the heart of Parada do Sil and Ribeira Sacra. Its setting near the Sil Canyon is magical, with breathtaking views and beautiful landscapes all around. It’s a special spot for a peaceful break, attentive service, and time in nature. We’ll definitely return.

We spent four lovely, relaxing days in this charming country hotel. There are trails and viewpoints nearby, and the location made it easy to enjoy the Ribeira Sacra. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff made everything straightforward for us. They were kind and dedicated, helping with whatever we needed.

The staff were friendly and attentive the whole time, and from the moment our group of ten arrived, they treated us wonderfully. They adjusted the lunch menu without any trouble. Every dish was delicious, the portions were just right, and the price was more than fair. It’s a pleasure to find a place like this. We’ll definitely be back, highly recommended.
