It’s a lovely place to unwind for a weekend, with everything you need and gorgeous views through the woods. There are villages nearby for shopping, though bring mosquito repellent because the forest is full of them. A little more attention to cleaning would help, but it wasn’t a serious problem.

The kitchen is simple but does the job, and I’d suggest this place to anyone who likes being up in the mountains. Still, I’m not sure why it’s advertised as a three-star hotel when it’s a rural house. Getting there by car is awkward, including reaching the parking area. The steep hill and the surrounding terrain could be difficult if you have even minor mobility problems. The bathrooms and showers are very small, and cleanliness, both inside and out, needs a lot of work.

We’ve been here three times already, and left yesterday wishing we could come back right away. It’s a peaceful, authentic rustic house, just wonderful. The owner has made some lovely, tasteful renovations since our last stay. Mornings start well with a dip in the pool’s cool water, and having coffee after lunch while taking in the views is a treat. The village has what you need, and everyone is very friendly.

Marilú was so lovely, always ready to answer our questions and help with any concerns. We’ll be back soon! The cozy little house has what you need for a few quiet days among the greenery, with incomparable views. It’s such a beautiful spot to unplug and enjoy nature.

A well with water running constantly was one downside, along with cleanliness that could use some improvement. Still, the house is lovely, set in a beautiful natural landscape, peaceful and surrounded by nature. A nice place to get away from it all.
