It was very good overall. The one problem was that the heating failed quite badly on the first day and night, which was especially unfortunate in January.

The house itself is great, but I wouldn’t rely on what the owners promise. We’d booked a room for four days, then on the day we were due to check in, they said we could stay for only two because the whole house had been rented for the weekend.

The village location was convenient, close to several bars, and the locals were lovely and friendly. The owner greeted us warmly, showed us around, and explained how everything worked. The house used to be a small hotel and is now rented as a whole. It was very clean and well looked after. There are five double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, decorated with wood and rustic furniture. The open living room and kitchen is huge, around 60 square meters, with a large fireplace and an integrated kitchen. Outside, there’s a very large barbecue and a fully equipped rotisserie oven. The kitchen has just about everything you could need, the lighting is good, and the rooms are nicely decorated. The only possible downside is the small, old TV in the living room. We had a wonderful weekend, and the experience exceeded our expectations.

The owners were kind and attentive, and we left delighted. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Everything was beautiful, tidy, and well prepared, with rustic features that have been restored with care. I highly recommend this place.
