The rooms felt fresh and well looked after, with a modern look and recent renovations. We were comfortable there, and the staff were kind and helpful the whole time. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

The local atmosphere is part of the appeal. El Perro was a famous flamenco singer, and locals can often be found singing and playing guitar here. It draws plenty of locals, and we eat here often. You can sit indoors, in the patio, or out in the square. The homemade food is great, with both tapas and à la carte dishes. The staff don't speak English, but they manage to make themselves understood.

The team are lovely, and the food was amazing. It's off the beaten path, but well worth driving from Cadiz or elsewhere in the region to try it. Highly recommend.

Whenever I visit my daughter, who lives in Paterna, El Perro is where we head first for food and drinks. The staff are very obliging, especially the manager.
