Aparthotel Wellness

We found it handy for a stop on a road trip, with a big family room for a good price. There’s a Carrefour and a bar nearby for food, plus plenty of free parking outside and paid parking underground. Booking through the hotel website directly gets you a lower price.

The flat was dirty throughout, with a bad smell and body hair and other hair in the bathtub, sink, and even on the bed. The room I’d booked through the official website was shown in photos as a duplex, but we were given an ordinary room in terrible condition. This was the worst hotel or apartment stay I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

The room is spacious, but the furniture is quite worn. Cleaning happens only once every three days, and they don’t change the sheets or take out the rubbish. You can smell tobacco coming from the neighbours’ balcony. Parking is hard to find during the day, though there’s usually a space in the evening, and there’s also paid underground parking. There’s one washing machine in the basement for the whole hotel, so it may be in use. It costs €4 to use.

You’ll probably want a car here since the centre is far away, but finding a space during the day can be difficult. The hotel parking was full throughout my stay. The rooms are medium-sized, with okay beds and bathrooms, but they aren’t cleaned daily and neither are the towels changed. Using any utensils costs extra, and although we had a few cups, there was no soap to wash them. The body wash dispenser in my room didn’t work properly. Staff said they’d fix it after I complained, but they never did.
