Breakfast was fresh, varied and really satisfying, though the coffee was terrible. The restaurant also has a good wine selection, with fair prices for the quality. And the hotel’s right in the heart of the Ruta del Vino de Ribera del Duero, which makes it a handy base for visiting wineries. Service was the letdown. The staff’s rigid about a lot of rules, and it made us feel unwelcome. We couldn’t bring food into the courtyard, had to leave our table as soon as breakfast hours ended, and they wouldn’t help us book a dinner reservation. We were even told we couldn’t open an umbrellas. The staff weren’t helpful and didn’t seem to have much sense of customer service. If location and food matter more to you than a warm welcome, it might work for you. If you want hospitality and flexibility, you may be disappointed.

We were only there for one night, but the value and service were a really nice surprise. We couldn’t use the hydro spa because of technical difficulties, though we did get to eat at Origen-es restaurant, which was an absolute delight, and enjoy the amazing room and its amenities. The next morning, we had the included wine tour throughout their wineries. Great staff and service. We’ll definitely come back and try the things we missed on this short visit.

The rooms were great, and breakfast offered lots of variety. Just a heads-up, there were extra costs we hadn’t been told about: the spa was 28€ for 45 min, and parking was 5€ per day. You can park for free right in front of the hotel.

Inma was the star for us. She works at the hotel and guided us through all the magical food and drink, making an effort we won’t forget. We only had a quick stay, but we’ll be back. The whole place has such a great vibe, modern but still with a classic historical feel. There’s a relaxing bar with a great wine selection, plus an incredible restaurant below serving local lamb and chuleton beef dishes.
