VE Fanega II in Pe Alba

The place feels badly neglected now, whatever its past may have been. There’s a “rural house” sign with four stars above the entrance, but the risk control booth is extremely dirty, and several security cameras inside made us uncomfortable. There were also spoons in the pool, a broken pole for its safety net, and a first-floor shower that sprayed water sideways instead of down. We went a full day without water, from arrival until the following afternoon, and couldn’t get anywhere with the management. The dishwasher was out of order, the microwave’s shaft was broken so its tray wouldn’t turn and the food heated unevenly, and there was no dustpan, mop, or bucket. At first glance the accommodation and its quiet location seemed appealing, though it’s in a residential area that has seen better days.

It was brutally cold inside, and there wasn't time to get the place warm. The supposed aerothermal heating didn't work, there was no firewood for the fireplace, and no radiators either. You could practically see the air. The indicator lights kept coming on, too. One star is the lowest I can give, and I won't be back.
