The receptionist was the one bright spot: the young man was really friendly and helpful. The room itself was awful. There was a strong damp and sewage smell, so we had to keep the bathroom door shut. The heating barely did anything, leaving the temperature uncomfortable. The floor was filthy, there were mold marks on the bathroom fittings and electrical outlets, and the bed had yellow stains and hair.

The rooms at Joanna's were cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with care put into all the little details. Her daughter was absolutely charming, too. It was my first visit to Peñíscola and I was taking a bit of a chance, but choosing this place worked out really well. I'd definitely stay there again on another visit.

Me encantó lo acogedora que era la habitación, y la atención fue espectacular. It was lovely and had heating, plus a coffee machine with capsules and tea. They even had micellar water and cotton pads for removing makeup. I'd definitely stay here again ❤️❤️

We had our meals at the family-run restaurant overlooking the sea, and the fresh ingredients were prepared so well. The desserts were unforgettable. Jose, Belinda, and Joana looked after us attentively from arrival through the whole stay. The room and bathroom were spacious, and I loved the decor. Ananda is in a great spot in the old town, with wonderful views from the terrace. Staying there felt like being at home, and we'd choose it again when we return to Peñíscola.

New, clean, and in a good location. They also leave a few breakfast essentials in the room, along with a coffee maker, and keep them replenished. A really nice place.
