The apartments are in a perfect location, but our stay was a disaster. We’d booked 5 nights and only managed to stay 1. The place was infested with bed bugs. Some things looked 300 years old and didn’t work, including a shower head that sprayed water everywhere except through the holes. When I leaned on the bed to lie down, a slat broke off the frame. There were broken chairs and the cleanliness was questionable. DO NOT GO BACK. We went to make a complaint, and they treated it very casually, as if this happened every day. They offered to clean the room, provide a new mattress, or move us somewhere else, just so we wouldn’t file a complaint. I don’t know whether I’ll get my money back, but this is definitely grounds for a complaint. Quehoteles.com is also washing its hands of the matter, even though we booked through them.

Residents who are Muslim have been told they may swim in the community pool fully clothed. The complex does not discriminate on the basis of religion, sex, or nationality, but everyone still has to follow the basic swimwear rules: swimsuits and no shoes in the pool, neither clothes nor nudity.

"Apartamentos 3000" knowingly rents out substandard apartments just to make money. For example, one had a faulty bathtub that caused water damage to the neighboring property, and there are other issues too.

We haven’t had much luck with aparthotels. Some weren’t run down, while others had bugs. We go fairly often, and when we’re lucky enough to get a decent one, we’re cheering, haha. I’ll look for more options next time so we can have a good vacation and at least a decent place to stay. I understand that some places are like this, but I don’t know why they don’t fix them up a bit and make a better impression.
