The room, kitchen and bathroom were cozy and very nice, with everything we needed during our stay. The one problem was the clothesline: it was so unsteady that we couldn't hang laundry on it.

Good value, and a great location if you want to be right in the old town.

The main issue was the cleaning. The microwave was splattered, the wall by the sink was sticky and marked, there were previous guests' labels on the floor, a cigarette under the kitchen chair cushion, and the floor hadn't been mopped, among other things. We told the owner after spotting several of these problems, though not all of them. We thought someone might be sent to clean up, but were only told the cleaning lady would be informed. So we had to buy cloths and disinfectant and clean the whole place ourselves as soon as we arrived, which really took away from the holiday. The apartment itself is lovely and has what a couple needs for a few days. It has a shared rooftop terrace with great views of the south beach, nice for a beer at sunset, but there are stairs and no lift. There's no shutter, just a dark curtain, so some light gets in. The location inside the castle is perfect, near the bufador and all the restaurants in that area.

We stayed three days as a couple in the ground floor apartment, and everything was perfect. The owners were very attentive, and the location is unbeatable. Though the street is busy, the place is soundproofed well enough that we barely heard the noise. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely come back when we're here in summer.
