Hostal Dios Esta Bien

We struggled a little to find the place and had to wind our way up the old town's narrow paths with our luggage. A local gave us directions, and in such a small old town everyone seems to know where everyone lives. Once there, we had a beautiful, wonderfully quiet room, the best bed of our whole trip, and the best breakfast too. The hosts were wonderful.

We didn't stay overnight, but came back for breakfast twice during our holiday. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was great, and the welcome was so warm. And the coffee is divine. Don't miss it while you're on holiday!

The roof terrace had lovely views across the rooftops and out to sea, and the room was comfortable and warm. Our hosts worked hard and were wonderful. We had a fantastic stay at this little guesthouse in Peñiscola old town, perfectly located. Breakfast inside was wonderful, and we'd had a good dinner outside the night before. They even provide blankets to keep you warm outside, a thoughtful touch. We'll return.

We stayed three nights in May at this excellent little B&B near the castle in Peñiscola, and it was very good value. The owners were friendly, and breakfast had lots of choice and was excellent. Their bar across the street also serves a small but very good menu, with a nice range of drinks. It was lovely sitting outside in the picturesque street in the evening. Highly recommend.
