The breakfast was a real highlight, with a varied buffet, fresh orange juice, and very good coffee. Our room was clean and roomy, with comfortable beds, a good bathroom, and a balcony facing the pool. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was peaceful while still being only a few minutes on foot from the beach and old town. We were just passing through and stayed two nights, but would have happily stayed longer.

Those blackout curtains made it easy to sleep in the morning or afternoon. This felt like a cozy, quiet spot for a family break, with the beach, town centre, groceries, and good restaurants all nearby. Breakfast was decent and the coffee was very good. The staff were friendly, and the services ran as promised, with the pool area finished being cleaned before its stated 10 o'clock opening.

The dinner buffet was excellent, and the rooms are large. The breakfast didn't impress me much, though, as there wasn't much choice in cold meats. Our room also had just two free sockets, one in the bathroom and the other in an awkward spot on the bed's headrest. There was often a bad smell in the foyer, apparently from the toilets there. Those are fairly small complaints, and I'd still recommend staying here in Peniscola.

The reception, restaurant, and shared ground-floor spaces are airy and spacious. We let them know we'd arrive late, and when we got there they already knew who we were and welcomed us. The staff seem to recognize guests as soon as they arrive. It's our first day, but first impressions are excellent. Looking forward to the next three weeks.

Everything was extremely clean, and the food was good. The staff work hard to make sure you have a great stay, with really excellent service. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend this place.
