Camping Chill-Outdoor

A good base for hiking and river activities, with a restaurant and little shop on site. The pitches are a nice size, shaded, and feel private, and electricity was included. There’s also a padel court about a five-minute walk away, and they lend you paddles. The bathrooms were pleasant and cleaned daily to a good standard; how tidy they stayed in between depended on the campers.

We only managed one night, which was a shame, but it was a lovely little site with about 12 pitches, just our kind of place. The meal at the bar and restaurant on Saturday was delicious and well worth having. Showers had hot water and were clean, as were the loos, and there was a laundry room too. We also walked up to the church on the hill behind the campsite for amazing views. It’s a worthwhile climb, and the road down is easier. Thanks for having us.

The owners were so kind, helping us arrange activities and sharing great hiking tips. There’s a nice bar and restaurant at this small campsite, set in a beautiful area near the river for swimming. Plenty of other things to do nearby too. We’d definitely recommend it.

The host was flexible and accommodating when we needed to change our booking, and helped us set up some of the many outdoor activities in the beautiful valley. Everything at the campsite was in very good condition and super clean. Our safari tent’s bed was extremely comfortable, with a high-quality mattress and duvet that kept us warm on the cold May nights. A great stay.
