The owners clearly love what they cook, and their creativity is backed up by real skill. We tried the six-tapas selection, including olive purée sealed in a delicate bubble and popcorn calamari in a squid-ink bun with a wonderfully fine eggshell crust. They also had local beer by the bottle and on tap. A lovely meal in a great setting, and a real gem of a restaurant.

A full breakfast, secure bike storage, and warm, genuine staff made this a great little hotel. It’s in a refurbished manor house right on the fountain plaza, in a beautiful part of Mallorca.

We were hoping to try paella and sangria while wandering through the lovely village, and the blackboard offer caught our eye. We’re Spanish, so we were after that familiar holiday treat. The paella turned out amazing, with tasty rice cooked al dente, and the sangria was very good too. The staff paid us lots of attention and brought complimentary starters as a kind gesture. Prices were lower than we expected. We left delighted with the food and service, and we’ll definitely return. Five stars from us.

The team is so friendly, and it’s a really peaceful spot. My partner and I went several times while staying in Petra, and every visit we had great food for €10.50. You can order à la carte or choose the menu del día. Highly recommend 😍

If you prefer a small hotel without mass tourism, this is a lovely choice. It’s cozy, with a pretty courtyard, nice rooms, and very pleasant staff.
