This is not a three-star hotel. There is no Wi-Fi except on the ground floor, so saying the village has no coverage is not a good enough explanation. The receptionists and service staff made little effort to help and could not even say whether there were shops in town. Some of the food was nice, including the fish and vegetables, but I would rather pay €10 to €20 more a day, if cost is the reason, for better quality food in Asturias. On the plus side, service was very fast. Breakfast was the same every day: refrigerated croissants and pain au chocolat, jam, margarine, kiwi, orange, and yogurt. Everything was sugary. The bathroom was great, but my clothes and hair smelled damp from the bedroom. Perhaps not many people visit in winter, so the place is not heated then. There was one long sausage-shaped pillow for the double bed, like something from a historical film. It meant I could not move the pillow at night without waking the other person. The decor is from the 1970s or 1980s, but I enjoyed Twin Peaks, so I accepted the throwback. I also do not understand why, during COVID, people from different households were seated together at one table for meals.

A decent choice if you’d rather stay away from the crowds of a big city.

It was okay.

The rooms were dirty, and breakfast was awful. For six days we got only a croissant with ham and cheese, nothing more. Coffee and milk came from a shared stainless steel teapot, while staff refilled the water and juice. Dinner was a mess too. The waiter brought it out on a stainless steel tray and put it on your tiny plate. The prices were like a four-star hotel, with beer at three euros and a small bottle of water at 1.50 euros. The picnic lunch was ridiculous. The stairs had no markings for older people, either. Where are the health inspectors? This place ought to be shut down. Are they waiting for something serious to happen? Good morning, I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Thanks 🫂

The best part of the hotel was the waitress Noemí. She always smiled and did what she could to help, even with all the problems. You’re lovely, Noemí. The resort itself is nice, though it feels outdated and the room smelled musty. Breakfast was repetitive and had little choice, with no tomato for toast. The portions were meager, and for food intolerances the only option was a French omelet. Even if you stay a whole week, it’s the same every day. They’ll probably start eating eggs.
