Bellsol Rooms

Bellsol was spotless during our five days there, with the toilets and showers cleaned regularly. I got a warm welcome at reception and could choose my pitch. Everyone was friendly, and having security at night helped us feel safe while sleeping. Being two minutes from the beach was perfect for my two dogs. Wish I could have stayed longer. Thanks for a great visit.

Apart from an electrical issue, everything was good. I had to hire an adapter from three phase to single phase, and when I checked the motorhome electrics, live and neutral were reversed. It seems to have affected my Truma heating.

The Barcelona trains take around 40-60 minutes, depending on which one you catch, and the station is a 15 minute walk away. You also need to plan around the rule that cars can’t enter the campsite after 11 pm. Parking itself wasn’t a problem, with enough room for everyone, and reception sells barbecue tools if you need them. Our six person mobile home was perfectly clean. The toilet and bathroom both had big windows for airing out any odors. The AC worked well, as did the fridge, coffee machine, wifi and TV. The site is right by the sea, so we didn’t use the pool, though from what we could see it looked nice and clean. We were very satisfied with our stay. One of the best camping sites I’ve been to. The food on site was expensive and only average, and the pool was just okay. The sea was warmer. The lifeguards, or whoever was on duty, seemed to apply different rules depending on the shift. Our motorhome pitch was big, but low tree branches meant we couldn’t use all of it. If your motorhome is over 2.8m high, consider another site. The whole place felt cramped. Noise was the bigger problem: traffic and lorries from the main road, daily bin collection, loud passersby, and entertainment from the neighboring campsite that went on late and kept us awake. That was frustrating when Bellsol doesn’t even allow speakers with music on its own site.
