10/10
The beach and town are both close by, which made the location really convenient. We enjoyed our five nights here, and the sea view from our comfortable room and balcony was gorgeous. The open-plan reception, bar and restaurant have glass and chrome finishes and look out over the sea and beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a wide buffet selection that changed each day, though the hot dishes could have been warmer. We did miss having tea and coffee facilities in the room.

The staff were great, and breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety. We had a lovely stay in a perfect location. Our room felt impractical because there wasn't much furniture, and it could use more soft furnishings. The fire alarm went off at 6am, and it wasn't handled well.

The room itself was a letdown. There were lots of marks on the walls, and the inside of the wardrobe was in bad shape. The lifts seemed old and couldn't manage the number of people using them, so we waited several minutes to get one. The location was excellent, close to both the beach and city center, and the staff were supportive and mostly kind.

10/10
The Junior Suite furniture had a modern, practical design and still felt cozy, like home. We had a wonderful family stay at Aromar Hotel, and the facilities never felt crowded. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the hotel was a lovely addition to our time experiencing Platja d’Aro. Everyone, from housekeeping to the concierge, was attentive, friendly and ready to help whenever we needed something. They made our holiday special.

The room was lovely, but the view was of a building site next door. The heavy noise starts early in the morning and can spoil your night. On the upside, breakfast was fantastic and the hotel is right on the beach. Check-in took too long and felt complicated.
