MYND Yaiza

The bar team were great, with consistently made drinks and well-presented, good-quality cocktails. The hotel is in a quiet spot between the marina and the main town, with supermarkets about five minutes away. We had a fabulous week. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the pool is heated in winter. The food was very good, though, as with buffets, it could have been warmer. Breakfast was chaotic and needs better organisation. Two coffee machines were out of service for our last two days, leaving huge queues at the other end. Spreading the food across more areas might help with the crowding.

It’s easy to get to the seafront, town and marina from this well-located hotel, and this was our fourth stay. We had a junior suite, which was spacious and clean, and it was serviced daily. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and nothing seems too much trouble. Breakfast has plenty of choice and there’s lots of food. It can get busy, but staff quickly replenish anything that runs out. We thoroughly recommend the hotel and hope to visit again soon.

The animation team is a big part of why we love this hotel. Sylvia and Imara were there the night we arrived and gave us their usual warm welcome, making the kids feel at home. They made the holiday fun and helped create lots of memories. They’re both naturally great at their jobs and could show other staff how to give good service. The kids loved the activities, and Imara and Slyvia made sure they got the magic carpet, their favourite. We’ve just got home from an amazing holiday, our fourth stay at Mynd yaiza and third time this year. The place is spotlessly clean, and the cleaning and maintenance staff are all very friendly. The pool area is tidy, too, and the heated pool was brilliant for the kids in winter. Breakfast is very good and one reason we keep coming back. I do think a kids’ menu at the restaurant would be really helpful. We’d eat there more often if it had one, since the adult portions felt wasteful for children. We’re looking forward to coming back next year.

Alba and Diego were brilliant, really friendly, entertaining, and full of helpful advice. Usman was just as friendly and helpful, and became good friends with my husband. Thanks as well to Matias, Petra and Cesar. We had a wonderful stay and all the staff were fantastic. The hotel was perfect for us.
