Playa Blanca has a lovely long waterfront stretching from Papagayo beach to Pechiguera lighthouse. Along the way there are various beaches, the marina with bars and restaurants, and the main town front with its ferry port. There’s food, drink and shopping, with something for everybody.

The most relaxing place on earth, where nothing feels rushed. Prices are still reasonable, especially for perfume. Remember to barter.

My wife and I loved this resort. There are lovely restaurants and bars along the beach, and Rubicon marina is fantastic for shopping and places to eat. Puerto del Carmen and the capital, Arrecife, are worth visiting too, and only a short bus ride away.

The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to just relax and enjoy the sun. Playa Blanca is gorgeous, with clear water, a clean beach and lovely views. I had a great time there and would happily return. A lovely choice if you want a beautiful, quiet beach.

The pools were a real highlight: one was heated, there was another regular pool, and the kids had their own pool with slides. The gardens were nice too. We had lovely rooms, great staff and an excellent range of food in the restaurants, with options for everyone. One of the best hotels I've stayed at.
