For the price, this is a great hotel, and I’m coming back in November. I live in Playa Blanca and couldn’t fault it. The rooms are big, with a separate living space, huge balcony and large bathroom with a hot rainfall-style shower. It was quiet, clean and free of background noise. There are two nice pools. For a quieter stay, get a room near the upper pool, further from the evening entertainment; ours was 753, overlooking that pool. The food was quite good, and there was always something nice to choose from: fresh meat and fish every day, chips, chicken nuggets, fresh pizza, salad, fruit and bread. Breakfast was nice, with a reasonably good full English, though never as good as back home. The on-site supermarket had reasonable prices. The main downside for some may be the location: it’s about a 20-minute walk to the seafront, shops, bars, restaurants and beach. I enjoyed the steady walk, and a bit of wind kept me cool. It’s only a slight hill. There’s an Aldi or Lidl, I can’t remember which, across the road, along with the sister hotel Tropical Island, whose facilities you can use and where there’s more evening entertainment.
