The outdoor space was a big part of the stay, with a pool, pool table, shaded seating and a barbecue. The back garden was a good size and a lovely spot to watch the sunset. Inside, the villa was massive, modern and spacious, with three bedrooms for up to six people. There was air conditioning in every bedroom and the main living room, and the TV let us watch the women’s Euros in English. It’s about a 10-minute drive to central Playa Blanca, and there’s another complex where we had tea and breakfast. We arrived late during the first week of the summer holidays, but the directions were clear from the hire car pickup onwards, including which road to take, where to find the keys and the code. We went as a family and I really miss being there. It’s the best villa I’ve stayed in.

We contacted them twice and got no help. The air conditioning and induction hob didn’t work, only one shower worked, and the outdoor shower was out of order too. Two of the four sun loungers were torn, so only two could be used. The villa felt very tired and below standard. This was our first holiday with Jet 2, and probably our last.

For the price we paid, this villa wasn’t worth it. It’s very worn and below standard, and really needs a full refurbishment.
