Villas Susaeta

There's a lovely Spanish feel to the villa, even if it's not very modern. It has everything you need, and we were happy to come back again. The pool water was really warm when we paid the extra fee to have it heated. Once a week they cleaned the house and pool, changed all the towels including the pool towels, and topped up the dishwasher and washing machine tablets. Shampoo and shower gel were provided too, as was a really nice starter pack of food and drinks. The air conditioning in one bedroom was a bit noisy, but the other two worked perfectly, so it wasn't a problem.

Daniela was lovely to deal with and was available for questions and help. We stayed in Villa No.29 for a week and had a great time. The villa was beautiful, everything worked properly, and it had everything we needed and more. When we opened the door, the clean smell hit us straight away, which made me so happy since cleanliness is top of my list when choosing accommodation. The area was very quiet, with fantastic mountain views from the top of the villa. We rented a car because we had two small kids, though the location was good. Aldi was about a 15-minute walk away, and the town, with its shops and restaurants along a promenade, was around 20-25 minutes on foot. I'd highly recommend staying here.

We were in villa 19, and the only fault I can think of is that the twin room beds could use a mattress topper or new mattresses. The location was quiet, with the seafront a 20-minute walk away, and taxis were easy to find for around €3\4. Our villa was cleaned midweek, the towels were refreshed, and things like dishwasher tablets and loo roll topped up. There was milk, water, bread and other extras in the fridge when we arrived. The heated pool costs extra, but it's worth it. Comfortable, clean and full of thoughtful touches, it made this our best villa stay ever. We'll be back!
