We really enjoyed our 10 nights at El Palmar. It’s tucked away from the hustle, but Playa des ingles centre is only about a 10-minute walk. The apartment was clean, the building felt safe, and both the staff and lifeguard were friendly. Rachelle did a lovely job cleaning our apartment. A little gem, and I’d happily recommend it 👌

The receptionist made our stay at Apartamentos El Palmar feel especially welcoming. They were friendly from the moment we arrived, always happy to help with directions or local suggestions, and even stopped for a cheerful chat. You could tell they cared about guests having a good stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had what we needed for an easy holiday. It’s also peaceful despite being a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants.

The little kitchen’s equipment all looked brand new, and reception were extremely helpful. Getting around was easy: the beach and Jumbo Centre are each about a 10-minute walk, while the supermarket is around 15 minutes away. My only small gripes were the rather thin, small towels, a weak fan and an old-looking fridge.

The rooms were lovely and spacious, and it was quiet at night apart from the lifts, which were busy until 2am because our room was beside them. We spent most evenings out. There’s a spa and swimming pool, and the staff were really helpful. Bus stops, supermarkets and the beach are all nearby.

I had a very good stay in September 2024, and I’m due back on July 8-16 in a couple of weeks. Reception were friendly and professional. The one downside was a heavy smoker staying on the ground floor, which bothered me enough that I had to keep my balcony door shut. Even so, it was a positive experience.
