I’m really sorry I chose this place. The photos look good, but inside the furniture is filthy, the beds stink, and the pillows are yellow and smell bad too. The windows don’t close properly, so drafts and wind get into the bedrooms. The electrical plug also pops out at least once a day. There’s barely any water pressure, and holiday apartments don’t get daily cleaning. Worst of all, when I called to explain the problems, the woman on the phone was rude and annoyed by my request, then hung up on me. I was laughed at and treated very disrespectfully. The other facilities don’t make up for dealing with people like this. Be smart and book somewhere else.

The pool is a good size, suitable for training lengths as well as kids having fun. There’s underground parking on two levels, which avoids the parking problems in the area, and a supermarket nearby for breakfast supplies and lovely fresh bread. The area has a mix of residential and holiday apartments, and our apartment was in great condition with ideal facilities. Playa Paraiso is a great location, with lots of bars and restaurants close by.

The apartment I stayed in was nice, though clearly well used, with scuffs on the walls and the usual wear. I can only speak for that one unit, but the complex itself seemed nice.

Juan was our host, and he was fantastic. Such a lovely, helpful man, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble.
