Hostatgeria De Poblet

We were there in April/May of this year, and the staff’s help during a frightening emergency is what I’ll remember most. Someone in our group needed an ambulance and spent about a week in hospital, though he has since fully recovered and is very grateful to the staff too. They stayed calm, called emergency services, and translated between us and the paramedics, which was essential in that situation. While he was in hospital, they did everything they could to help my mother and me, and kept asking how he was doing. Despite the unexpected ordeal, we still had a lovely hotel stay, with great dining, beautiful scenery, and staff who went above and beyond. We’ve recommended it to friends. Thank you for everything, it’s something we won’t forget.

It’s hard to find a place this nice where the service looks down on its guests. If you don’t wear brands, don’t go there.

We came with about 50 students and professors and had a wonderful time. The mountain trails are great for hiking, including the Camino de la Pena. The food is worth mentioning too, especially the Lamb. Hostatgeria de Poblet is a wonderful historical monastery for spending a few days and reconnecting with yourself and God. Unlike places where rooms and service are only adequate, the rooms here are great, the service is good, and the setting is peaceful. I highly recommend it if you want a comfortable, peaceful place to reconnect.

The rooms have just the necessities, and that actually gave me a sense of mental calm. The hotel itself is simple, calm, and serene, with a tranquil atmosphere. Service was friendly, efficient, and never intrusive. I enjoyed the library and grounds. It’s a lovely place to reflect, retreat, spend time with family, or visit the Monastery.
