The pool was such a welcoming place to spend time, with palms and shade umbrellas around it. We could have lounged there all day instead of sightseeing. There’s also ping pong, pool volleyball and a tennis court. Pollenca, with its dining and markets, is under 3 kilometers away. Our group of seven stayed in three separate lodgings at Finca Can Cap De Bou, each with a private bathroom and kitchen. Isabel hosted us, and the family-run property could suit a group retreat of 30 or more seeking an alternative to costly resorts and hotels. Weddings and family reunions would also fit this step back into Mallorca’s 18th century. The approach, less than a kilometer from the beach, felt like stepping into the past. A tree-lined drive leads to a stone-paved courtyard with an old ivy-covered well, quiet and unused. The place is no longer a cattle ranch. The Vila family has owned it for 300 years, and old farm tools around the property show its history. There’s no air conditioning, but the windows open and there are ceiling fans. I was lucky to get the oversized bed in one unit’s master bedroom, with antique furniture and comfortable bedding. It’s a peaceful stay away from the crowds, priced appropriately, and a good alternative to the high-priced hotels nearby. If old Spain appeals to you, Finca Can Cap De Bou may bring romantic images of the 18th century. On my last day, watching a farmer walk beside his mule as it pulled a cart made me want to write my own romance about a bygone era.

We stayed at Finca Can Cap de Bou for a wedding and had a great time. The owners were so hospitable and made sure we were looked after. It’s a beautiful setting, close to town but still quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed unwinding by the pool. A fantastic spot for a getaway or special event, with great service.

The venue is beautiful, and the shared spaces were always clean and presentable. The pool and fire pizza oven made great spots for everyone to hang out together. We found the staff extremely helpful with anything we needed, and they worked hard to make sure our event went smoothly. Finca Can Cap De Bou is close enough to town to be convenient, while still giving you that farm feeling. I'd recommend it to friends and family.

Susan and her daughter Isabel were helpful and accommodating. Our kids loved feeding Tati the donkey and all the cats at the finca. We stayed in a lovely two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with our children. It had a fully equipped kitchen, though no dishwasher or air con, plus front and back terraces overlooking the other houses on the property. There’s a nice pool and tennis court. Rackets are available, but you have to pay for the balls. A lovely countryside escape and a perfect place to relax with kids. Hope we can come back soon.

We loved feeding the donkey every day and exploring all over the island. The finca was full of rustic charm and very peaceful, just a five-minute drive from town. My partner and I had a wonderful stay, and we can’t wait to return.
